Michelle & Jared's Wedding Day

Yikes I'm getting behind on blogging weddings, thanks to everyone for their patience!

Michelle & Jared's wedding was a total blast! The couple & their guests really knew how to let loose & have a good time after all is said and done. Denise & I thought it was a totally wicked party and the band Liquid A totally rocked the house! Even though we were short on time, we managed to get some killer portraits at the Jefferson Memorial. I created a sweet slideshow and posted some personal favorites of the day ... check it out!

Salon: PR at Partners
Church: Holy Trinity Church in Georgetown
Venue: Arts Club of Washington
Transportation: Chariots For Hire
Music: Liquid A
Second Shooter: Erin Rexroth

Bridesmaid Amy let me snap a quick shot =)

Mom couldn't help but get emotional at times

At ADP we're all about making the guys look cool.
This shot that Erin got for me is no exception.

This was a funny moment... guests somehow found their way around the back of the church trying to find their way to the Chapel, unintentionally seeing Michelle!
So the girls huddled and concealed her as best as they could as the guests would pass.

Did I mention how beautiful Michelle is?!

Ah yes, the tourists!
I let them indulge for a few minutes, then I had to exert some authority and move my party forward.
You never know what's going to happen at a wedding these days! LOL

We managed to get away from the "fans" to capture some awesome group shots.

...and some dramatic portraits of the couple.

We love to capture details our clients worked so hard on. Here's just one of them.

A quick shot of Michelle and some of the bridesmaids. By the way, do you see that stunning young lady at the far right? That's Michelle's MOH Regina whose wedding I'm shooting next summer!

The band was awesome, even Jared got up there to rock out some vocals with Sweet Home Alabama!

Congratulations Michelle & Jared.
Thanks so much for making us a part of your great & memorable wedding!

Looks like an amazing place to shoot. The group shots and the couple shots on the monument are sweet! Unfortunately with many onlookers. That is such a funny story about how they got in your way. Beautiful bride for sure. =)
